Inspired by Canadian Truth and Reconciliation, our report calls for the US government to create a federal Truth and Healing Commission to both acknowledge and investigate the impacts and ongoing effects of the boarding school policy. In conjunction, we launch a national campaign that brings tribes across the country together, unified in their call for the establishment of the commission.
